No longer offering web programming services...

After much consideration, I've decided to stop offering programming services. For the most part, this will not affect current clients or projects. This applies specifically to future web development projects.
I'm still able to create the web design (user-interface), but you will need to rely on a 3rd party for the programming aspects. For example: shopping carts, image galleries, external plugins, inventory management software, etc. If you are interested in knowing why I've made this decision, here are my reasons...
1) Compatability issues within an increasingly convoluted industry...
Developers are expected to deliver working results across all platforms of technology. But, most of the current technologies are in direct competition with each other... meaning, they're not working together so there is no unified approach for addressing compatability issues between them. Developers must build separate solutions to address each unique platform. As competition grows (Mac, Windows, Chrome, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.), the technical problems grow too. Furthermore, the developers are often blamed for compatability issues which are entirely out of their control. The average consumer rarely understands this fact, or the time/costs involved to address issues resulting from the competing technologies.
2) Common misconceptions about technology....
Technology has made our day-to-day lives much easier, and as a result, I think people tend to oversimplify things. However, there's nothing simple about the web development process - even a "simple" web update involves about 7-8 steps. It's challenging to educate consumers who have preconceived notions about technology, versus what it can actually do or what it really costs to accomplish certain goals.
3) I want to focus more on art, less on programming...
Simply put, I want to focus on more creative things. I plan to dedicate more time towards improving my illustrative/art skills.
